The library is an integral part of the instructional program at Thaxton.  In the Library Media Center, a collection of over 6,000 books, magazines, videos, and other multi-media is maintained for faculty and students.  Each class comes to the library each week for literature, research, or instructional time.  Additionally, the Library Media Center sponsors many activities to encourage reading, to promote a love of books, and to assist in the student's use of technology.
